Daphnne Balizan

Education and Experience

​

Daphnne  is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. She has a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from New Mexico State University, graduated Cum Laude from University of Nevada Las Vegas with a second bachelor’s in Nutrition Sciences and a minor in Psychology. 

 

Daphnne is currently a health educator for Healthy Interactions/ Village Medical and an outpatient dietitian/ business owner part time. Additional experience includes acute/long term senior care, outpatient counseling, and eating disorder PHP/IOP facility.

Personal Story

​

Daphnne grew up as an athlete playing numerous sports including 10 years as a competitive gymnast. Physical activity and nutrition has always been an important part of her life. It was not until she became a dietitian that she realized how truly amazing the body is and how it works. As an RDN her goal is to help others improve their health and quality of life by working with the body to obtain the best results.
